DRUM LESSONS

Private drum lessons are offered in 30, 45, or 60 minute intervals, both in-person or virtually. You will receive dedicated, specialized training from our team of professional drummers. Meet the guys in the instructors tab!

TOPICS OF STUDY

Metronome exercise, how to practice with intent, rudiment studies/pad exercises, subdivision studies, dynamic training, building rhythmic phrases, grooving and filling, advanced techniques (linear fills, odd meter/subdivisions, etc.), lessons in stick control (Stone), lessons in syncopation (Reed), lessons in future sounds (Garibaldi), Moeller technique, double bass technique, styles of grip, musical stylings (rock, jazz, latin, metal, R&B, hip hop, fusion, punk, reggae, ska - we teach them all), equipment and what’s right for you, and much more…

SMALL GROUP JAM SESSIONS

This is a laid back jam session designed for students to interact with their peers and understand the importance of playing together.

DRUM SEMINARS

Teachers will demonstrate and discuss many topics of drumming to a medium sized group of students. These presentations will have a relaxed question and answer format that encourages group participation.

MASTERCLASSES

Elite drummers from the area and beyond will perform and educate students in an exclusive group setting at Soundcheck Studios. There’s nothing better than the passing of knowledge from current professionals to the future of the drumming community.

LIVE PERFORMANCE AT SOUTH SHORE OPEN MIC

Students of TDaveDrums will have the opportunity to play live on a state of the art stage at Soundcheck Studios allowing them to get in front of a live audience and conquer their stage fright whenever ready!
